Top Shot Firearms is an approved FFL dealer for firearms transfers. We will provide the paperwork necessary to complete the transfer. FFL Transfers are firearms shipped into an FFL from some other location. They can be either be from another dealer or a private individual. All firearms transferred to us SHALL Be Michigan legal. Sorry, no fully automatic (machine) guns can be transferred to my shop.
We can also transfer firearms to other states. We currently are able to transfer to ALL states, including California. Give us a try, you'll see why we are preferred.
Fees
FFL Transfer for long guns is $15.00 (up to (5) five) plus MI Sales Tax
FFL Transfer for hand guns is $20.00 plus MI Sales Tax
What do I need from the Seller?
Transfers from non FFL must have a clear copy of the sellers ID.
If the seller is an FFL, I need a copy of their FFL
An email address (preferred) or fax number to send a copy of my FFL to the shipper.
Private Party Transfers (Locally)
For the transfer of handguns locally, the buyer must obtain a purchase permit or perform the transfer through a FFL dealer.
We need both the buyer and the seller present.
What do I need to buy a gun?
Present a valid Michigan ID to purchase.
Meet the age requirements to purchase the gun, 18 for long guns, 21 for hand guns.
Pass the background check.

Top Shot Firearms can also take care of the shipping of your firearms. We can provide the packaging and shipping, or you may package the firearm and we will ship the firearm for you. We ship to ALL of the United States, including California.

What do I need from the Buyer?
Copy of the receiving FFL License.
Email address (preferred) or fax number to send a copy of my FFL.
Name of who the package should be addressed to.
Shipping
Shipping charges are based on the actual cost of shipping. All shipping goes out standard with insurance, so there will be an additional charge for insurance. If you don’t want insurance, please let us know prior to shipment. We ship Monday through Friday, orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
Unfortunately we cannot ship to PO Boxes, a street address is required.
Orders will be shipped via USPS, UPS or Fedex. Tracking numbers will be provided upon shipment. All orders receive email confirming shipment.
Returns & Exchanges
All returns require a RMA number. Please call or email us prior to returning any items. Items without a valid RMA number will not be accepted. Returns or Exchanges must be arranged within 10 days of receipt. Returns must be unopened and in original packaging to receive return credit.
A 20% restocking fee is applied on returns and exchanges.
No returns on firearms, and parts. If you are unsure if your item can be returned, please contact us prior to purchase.
Defective items are warranted by the manufacturer. We are happy assist in any way possible to help get the issue resolved quickly.
When returning product, we recommend insuring the package with the carrier. We do not refund shipping costs, or return shipping. We do not accept COD or damaged packages.
